If I want to use a library function or snippet of code today I just google an example and adapt a promising result only checking the documentation if I don't understand a parameter.
I use AI exactly the same way. When I get an AI suggestion I will only use it about 50% of the time and it usually gives me a more specific idea of what I am trying to achieve.
